Shear elbows are designed to satisfy the sacrificial shear section requirements of 49CFR §178.345-8 as tested and verified per TTMA RP84.  Ideal to be used with a Internal Hydraulic Valve.

Elbows are constructed of 316 stainless with a 4” sump inlet flanges and outlet piping flanges as shown in table below.  Steam jacket versions have ¾” NPT inlet/outlet ports.
