The 6” Hot Products Hydraulic Valve is designed to provide high discharge rates for products such as heavy fuel oils.  This enables a tank to be unloaded much faster than with conventional valves.  A replaceable Buna disc is provided for ease in repairing should damage occur from dirt or other foreign material. A heavy mounting flange is provided to insure a flat gasketing surface.

¼ NPT Hydraulic connection conveniently located at the base of the piston cylinder. Indicator pins, which move in relation to the piston, show the position of the disc at all times.

This valve does NOT contain a shear section. The cargo tank must protect the valve by providing suitable protection as specified in 49 CFR 178.345-8a(2).

1,500 psi minimum hydraulic line pressure required to operate valve, but do not exceed 3,000 psi hydraulic line pressure.
